Mother-Son Night: Friday, February 24 Another Lines PTO Favorite Tradition is right around the corner - The Mother Son Event! Mark your calendars now for Friday, February 24, from 6:30PM-8:30PM at BMS Station Campus. This year's theme is "MOTHER SON JAMMIN' FUN!" We have added a new twist on the Mother Son Event and will be having Interactive Mother Son Competitions, led by DJ Pete! The tradtional dodgeball will continue and the night will conclude with a captivating show by Medal Winning Paralympic LLoyd Bachrach! For a sneak peek, check out his amazing website. For more details view the Mother-Son Invitation or if you have any questions, contact Amy O'Donnell ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Garden Club: The next Garden Club Workshop will be held on Monday, January 30, from 3:45PM to 4:45PM in the Lines MPR. As usual, this workshop is open to all 3rd - 5th graders. The workshop will be presented by Crabtree Nature Center. We will learn about bees and why pollination is so important. We will also learn how bees communicate, do a "bee dance" and everyone will get to taste some honey. Cost is $5 and all proceeds to go the Lines Garden Club for spring planting expenses. New with the Garden Club: we are now a paperless organization and thus registration is only via the internet. No registration form will come home in your child's backpack. If you would like to register, click here for the form. The form and the check can be sent to school (addressed to the Garden Club) with your child. Lines Garden Club is open to all 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. We meet in the garden from 3:40PM - 4:00PM on Monday's during September and October. We will begin harvesting and then preparing the garden for winter. On April 29, 2012 we will resume meeting on Monday's from 3:40PM - 5:00PM through June 4, 2012.
